Last month. I had to go on a business trip to Melbourne in Australia. It was a wonderful experience. The people and the culture is so different from that I have ever experience. That’s may be due to my lack of travel experience to Europe or the Americas. I met so many interesting “Mates” there.

Melbourne is a very big city. It’s designed on a easy to navigate Grid system. You can rarely get lost in Melbourne. The first night I was there, my friends there took me to have a dinner at one of the most famous restaurants there. It seems they change the menu every day.

Now.. not to deviate from the topic of the post. As most of the new visitors to city does, I visited the Melbourne Aquarium, It was a wonderful experience. The variety of marine life really amazed me. There were sharks, eels, rays, gold fish, cat fish and almost all other fishes that you can think of.

The most striking of the exhibits were the jelly fish.

Jelly Fish in Australia

Jelly Fish

The body of the jelly fish is almost transparent and designed in such a way to propel it in the seas. The jelly fish found in Australia are some of the most dangerous in the world. I was told that the stings can can result in almost instant death.

I remember one of my Aussie mate telling me that they have a big and beautiful country with some really dangerous “not so big” wildlife such as the spiders, the snakes and the jelly fish!
